Safeguarding Adults Week 2022

Safeguarding Adults Week 2022 focused on "Responding to Contemporary Safeguarding Challenges" with a specific theme for every day of the week:

• Monday - Exploitation and County Lines
• Tuesday - Self-neglect
• Wednesday - Creating Safer Organisational Cultures
• Thursday - Elder Abuse
• Friday - Domestic Abuse in Tech-Society
• Saturday and Sunday - Safeguarding in Everyday Life

The Safeguarding Champions Forum aimed to give information and guidance on some of the themes from the week:

There was also an overview of the work streams in Gateshead, the work of the Safeguarding Team and plans for the future promotion of safeguarding across services and organisations in Gateshead.
